STRAWBERRY FUDGE BROWNIES

  • Nonsticky cooking spray

  • 1 12.35 – ounce package sugar free chocolate fudge brownie mix

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans (I usually leave these out)

  • 1/4 cup refrigerated or frozen egg product

  • 3 tablespoons canola oil

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, coarsely chopped

  • 1 ounce white, dark or semisweet SF chocolate

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 8x8x2  square baking pan with nonsticky spray. In a medium bowl, combine the brownie mix, applesauce, pecans, egg product, and oil. Beat with spoon until combined. Spread batter evenly into the pan. Sprinkle the chopped strawberries on top. Bake 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. While they’re cooling,  melt the chocolate over low heat and drizzle over the brownies.

Sooooo good. And thankfully- sooo easypeasy!
