OATMEAL MACAROONS
2 egg whites
1/2 SF maple syrup
1 cup rolled oars
1/2 cup grated coconut
Preheat oven to 350. Beat egg whites until stiff. Combine syrup and oats in a separate bowl and mix until well blended. Add coconut then fold I beaten egg whites. Drop by teaspoon (the book I first read this out of said to use “walnut size” but I don’t think I ever do the right size haha) onto a cookie sheet. (be sure to spray sheet with nonsticky spray first) Bake for 15 minutes and viola!
